Another enjoyable way to consume cacao is with husk tea. The husks are a by-product from winnowing the beans before they’re turned into chocolate and have a delightful chocolatey nose. Once brewed you’ll taste fruity and earthy notes from the cacao.

Directions: Steep 2-3 tablespoons in hot water in an infuser or French press for 5 minutes. Add more if you like a stronger cup. It’s great hot or iced and with a touch of sweetener to bring out the chocolatey notes. You can also add it to other teas you enjoy to add some chocolatey notes.
